The adventures of Doggy........
or, from street pup to pampered pet in 1 month!
It all began one day when I wandered into the webmasters garden in search of
my next meal..........
I was scratching like a hound and covered in bits of - well everything really
- but my endearing smile and never stop waggy tail made me an instant hit
with the webmistress. What a lady, and the cuisine, I tell you, no more ants and
almond sap for me.
From then on I made this a regular stop on my route around the neighbourhood.
After a while, I found the gate ajar most days. This was very convenient and
was perfect for a quick snack stop while still being able to dash out and join
in the latest dog battle on the street. I do love a good old dog fight, you
should see me go! I can see off dogs twice my size!
Although I'm only little I've got some growing to do I think. They say I'm
just a puppy yet although what sort is a bit of a mystery. The webman says I'm a
scrufflehound.
It's all been a bit confusing, I seem to have had a lot of names. Each
house called me something different. The webmistress's lovely daughters called me Doggy
though, and so that was that.
I've become fluent in English since then, so you can read the next chapter as soon
as I can get a look in on the webman's computer...................
